Guilty By Design was created in 2006 by Kyle Dimetroff down in Joplin, Missouri. You could say he grew up in the shop alongside his dad who is a mechanic and fabricator.

It wasn't long until Kyle started doing custom suspension work himself. One day he was trying to make some cool axle mounts with a plasma cutter when in comes dad with some "one-off" gussets. His dad had a friend of theirs cut the gussets with a laser cutter. That's when Kyle got the idea of starting to make his own one-off pieces. Kyle put 2 and 2 together and that's how Guilty By Design was started.

Guilty By Design uses a computer aided drafting program to draw their designs before being sent to the laser cutter to be cut to perfection. They currently sell custom gussets, hood props, and general brackets. We plan to expand the business into more complicated pieces like entire bridge setups and backhalfs.

Guilty By Design was started to provide customers with a company that can help them create truly custom parts, not "custom" parts that are in production. We sell production pieces, but we hope you will come to us with ideas for one-off pieces.
